The UTHealth Houston Center for Eating Disorders is a treatment program that offers multiple levels of care. Our interdisciplinary team of psychologists, therapists, medical providers, and registered dietitians provides evidence-based treatments, medical care, and nutrition counseling to children and adolescents with eating disorders. We provide comprehensive services across outpatient care and our Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programs. For patients that require immediate medical attention, we recommend inpatient care at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital.
We are proud to share that we are in-network with most major insurance companies.

Philosophy
At the UTHealth Houston Center for Eating Disorders, we recognize that eating disorders are shaped by both genetic and environmental factors. While developing an eating disorder is not a choice, recovery can be. Guided by a philosophy of hope and supported by research, we know that with evidence-based treatment, recovery is not only possible but probable for most patients.
