Honor your caregiver

Give Now

Recognizing the care that inspires us all

At UTHealth Houston, doctors, nurses, researchers, and educators all work together toward a shared goal: to save and improve lives. We bring this mission directly to life through our affiliated clinical practices, including UT Physicians and UT Dentists, where more than 2,000 providers care for 1.9 million patients across 100-plus locations each year. This means the patient care is guided not only by clinical expertise but also by innovative research that leads to faster diagnoses, more effective treatments, and better outcomes.

Behind each of these outcomes is a caregiver who made it possible. When exceptional care plays a pivotal role in your recovery, it often sparks the desire to give back. Our Honor Your Caregiver program offers a meaningful way to recognize an outstanding caregiver—a nurse, physician, dentist, or multitude of staff—who supported you during your health care journey.  Your tribute will show your appreciation while advancing the education, research, and care that shaped your experience—and will shape the future of health.

Note of gratitude

If you have been impacted by a caregiver's act of compassion—whether they made you smile, eased your worries, or delivered life-changing care—consider sharing your story or writing a quick note of gratitude.

What our patients say

A small thank you can make a big impact on our caregivers. Take a look at these notes of gratitude:

  • "Dr. Thosani and his team are the gold standard as far as I'm concerned."

    - Kim

  • "I can tell you from experience Dr. Atai is the most caring doctor. She gets to know her patients so well. My husband was not the kind of person who wanted to be fussed over, so she made sure he got what he needed without letting it seem like a big deal."

    - Linda

  • "Dr. Hillman is always there. If we need something, he finds a way to make it happen."

    - Riley

  • "Good physicians can connect with patients who are motivated to tackle the disease. Dr. Orlander always reminds me that we are partners in this journey. I am responsible for my health, but he keeps me on that path."

    - Linda L.
