Training
The UTHealth Houston CryoEM facility encourages users to gain foundational knowledge essential for successful CryoEM studies. Customizable hands-on training that covers the full workflow, including instrument operation and data collection on both the Titan Krios G3 and TFS Glacios F30 microscopes is available to experienced users. For details on how to begin the training process, please contact Venkata Mallampalli or Mehdi Zarei.
Here is a downloadable PDF file containing a curated set of general introduction and online support resources related to CryoEM. These include conceptual overviews as well as links to external websites offering helpful materials. Please note that while these resources offer useful background, they may not reflect the specific instruments or configurations used at our facility. For guidance on software and tools specific to our setup, please reach out to the core staff or refer to the equipment descriptions on our iLab site.
