Safety Training
SHERM is pleased to announce a brand new Safety Video. This is our new Safety Orientation Video that will be viewed by all new employee's during orientation. In this video we take a comprehensive look at all the potential hazards that we have on our campus, where to find safety information, and what to do in case of a fire. If it's been awhile since you've been to orientation take a look at our updated video, Dr. Emery actually blinks his eyes this time.
As an employee of UTHealth, you are required to take Basic Lab and Clinical Safety class if your job requires you to be in a lab or clinical space. This course is only required once and is only good for one year. Annual refresher training is required.
