Shaping UTHealth Houston Students into Tomorrow's Leaders

UTHealth Houston Leads is a dynamic, interdisciplinary initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of health care leaders across the full spectrum of health professions. This immersive leadership development experience is open to students who are passionate about driving change and improving health outcomes at many levels. Through seminars, mentorship, and collaborative projects, participants will explore topics to gain leadership skills to empower them to lead transformative initiatives in health care settings of the future.

This virtual session is designed for UTHealth Houston students exploring career paths across health fields. Learn how professionals navigate different trajectories, including unexpected twists, and how understanding your options can strengthen your ability to negotiate job offers and contracts with confidence.

You’ll gain practical strategies for evaluating offers, responding to “this is our standard offer,” and advocating for yourself without sounding difficult.
