Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) is the central administrative and financial office responsible for facilitating and overseeing externally funded research and scholarly activities.
Its primary responsibilities include assisting faculty and researchers in the preparation and submission of grant proposals, ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor policies, negotiating and executing contracts and agreements, and managing post-award administration and reporting. SPA acts as a liaison between the university and funding agencies, providing guidance on regulatory requirements, budget development, and reporting obligations.
