TX IPE Consortium
The purpose of the Texas Interprofessional Education (IPE) Consortium is to foster cross-institutional collaboration in order to expand learning opportunities and reinforce value for IPE as a critical aspect of health professions education. The Texas IPE Consortium Bi-Annual Meeting is an excellent opportunity to collaborate and network with IPE professionals as we work together to improve interprofessional education and practice at our respective health-related institutions. The theme for this year's fall meeting is Dare to Explore: Expanding Horizons in Interprofessional Practice and Education. New horizons and innovations in IPE will be featured in sessions, a keynote presentation, shift and shares, hands-on activities, and more. Sue Bornstien, MD, FACP, Executive Director of Texas Medical Home Initiative will provide this fall's keynote presentation titled IPE in PCMHs: Laying the Foundation for Achieving the Quadruple Aim.

Future research will focus on adding chiropractic and pharmacy students to our IPE program: educational simulations on teamwork and evaluating debrief as effective andragogy.
