Dissemination & Implementation Science Certificate

Translate Research into Action with a Certificate in Dissemination & Implementation Science! 

This 15 credit hour certificate introduces the concepts of dissemination and implementation to students and other health professionals. The concepts learned while pursuing this certificate will assist researchers and practitioners in translating and testing research advances in public health and healthcare delivery to effective and efficient interventions in multiple settings. 

Available to degree-seeking and non-degree seeking students 

Current students: The certificate is easy to combine with your existing coursework, and several courses are already included in School of Public Health degree requirements. See the Course of Study below for more information. 

Non-degree seeking students: Application is simple with the SOPHAS Express Application! You just need:  

  • Academic transcripts 
  • Statement of purpose and objectives  
  • One letter of recommendation

Recently completed your MPH or PhD at UTHealth Houston? Consider getting your Certificate in D&I Science! Coursework from your degree can be applied to Certificate requirements for up to five years.
