Elise Lasker, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at McGovern Medical School and staff psychiatrist at UTHealth Houston Student Health and Counseling Services and Lyndon B. Johnson Outpatient Psychiatry Center. At Student Health and Counseling Services, Dr. Lasker has the immense honor of caring for students within the seven schools at UTHealth Houston.

Dr. Lasker earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish from Stanford University in California. She went on to receive her medical degree from UT Health San Antonio, where she then stayed to complete her general adult residency. Additionally, it expanded her breadth of clinic experiences to include working at the county hospital, a military based hospital setting, and community psychiatry outpatient settings.

Dr. Lasker treats adults, with interests in young adult mental health, women's mental health, and psychotherapy (particularly CBT). She provides care for a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and psychosis.
