Dr. Choi received her BA from Queen’s University in Canada, MPH from Seoul National University in South Korea, and graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health in 2023 with a PhD in Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences.

Research
Dr. Choi’s current research focuses on understanding psychosocial and behavioral factors associated with vaccine hesitancy as well as effective vaccine communication strategies for adolescents to reduce vaccine-preventable cancers. Her work also involves evaluating trauma-informed approaches to improve patient health outcomes and employee wellness in federally qualified health centers across Texas.
