Spencer Solberg Awarded NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

Spencer Solberg, a Graduate Research Assistant at Rice University, has been awarded the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP).

The NSF GRFP is one of the nation’s most competitive fellowships, supporting outstanding graduate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The award provides three years of funding to support research and academic development.

Solberg previously worked with the UTHealth Houston Stroke Institute as a Biomedical Research Assistant, contributing to research efforts and gaining valuable experience in the field.
