2nd Annual UTHealth Houston Movement Disorders Symposium

Event Description

Movement Disorders Faculty will present findings and new therapies for neurological movement disorders to UTHealth faculty and local neurologists, nurses, residents/fellows, interns, and allied health professionals. Series Objectives Recognize and integrate the latest pharmacological, non-pharmacological, and surgical treatment advancements in both hypokinetic and hyperkinetic movement disorders into their clinical practice. Identify and manage non-motor symptoms and neurocognitive impairments in Parkinson’s disease. Improve their ability to debunk common Parkinson’s disease myths and provide suggestions to improve care coordination.
