Profiles Research Networking Software

Profiles is a web-based, open source tool that can be used to construct institution wide CV's, useful for both profiling faculty and connecting researchers with related interests and projects. Profiles combines "passive" automatic profiling (e.g. compiling lists of publications from public databases) along with "active" components, where individual researchers can update and modify their own profiles. More than a simple directory, profiles aims to be a tool for advancing intra- and inter-institution collaboration.
