Travel to Washington, D.C.

Pursuant to Senate Bill 1, General Appropriations Act, the Texas Office of State-Federal Relations (OSFR) require state agencies, whose personnel travel into or out of Washington D.C to notify the OSFR in advance of travel plans if the trip involves obtaining or spending federal funds or impacting federal policies.

The Washington area is serviced by Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI).

**If the purpose of the trip is To Obtain Or Spend Federal Funds or To Impact Federal Policies, go to the OSFR webpage to complete and submit the State Funded Travel to DC form as instructed.

If the traveler will be giving testimony to Congressional Committee of Agency Rule-Making Authority, provide an advance Courtesy Copy of the testimony as requested on webpage.**

NOTE: All Washington DC travel should be documented with a copy of either form sent to the Auxiliary Enterprises Travel Manager via e-mail, fax or mail as listed below.  A copy of the form also must be included with travel forms sent to the Expense Reimbursement Team (ERT).
