Located within the Texas Medical Center, the School of Biomedical Informatics (SBMI) provides a unique collaborative research & learning environment in biomedical informatics. The school’s mission is interdisciplinary graduate education and research, bringing together the engineering, computer and biological sciences. The educational programs lead to Certificates in Health Informatics and Public Health Informatics, two Master's degrees, or a Doctoral degree in Health Informatics.
