Refund Policy for Summer Semesters

Provided the student remains enrolled at the institution, refunds shall be made of applicable tuition and fees collected for courses from which a student drops as follows: 
                             Within the first four days

Complete Withdrawals
Refunds of tuition and mandatory fees shall be made to the students withdrawing completely from the institution during a semester according to the following schedule. The percent refunded is based upon the full payment of all tuition and fees. If full payment has not been made, it is possible that a balance may be due. Not all fees are refundable beyond the first day of the term.

12 WEEK SESSION

Prior to the first day of the session (a $15.00 matriculation fee shall be assessed)

During the first 5 class days of the term

During the second 5 class days of the term

70%

During the third 5 class days of the term

50%

During the fourth 5 class days of the term

25%

After the fourth 5 class days of the term

None

6 WEEK SESSIONS

During the fourth, fifth, or sixth class days of the session

After the seventh day of class and thereafter

Note: Refunds are based on the first day of the session, not on the first day of class. Refunds are based on the day you drop the class in myUTH or the day your withdrawal form arrives in the Registrar's Office. Tuition reassessment refunds will be made after the 20th class day.
