OOPS! METRO Bus Damages
Medical School Building

Metro Bus Accident Photo

Metro Bus Accident Photo

An oversized, METRO "HOV" bus ran into the Medical School building via Ross Sterling (i.e., under the breezeway between the school and Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center) last Wednesday evening.

The westbound lanes of Ross Sterling were closed for part of the day Thursday. The plaster underneath the breezeway was removed about 6-feet back so a structural engineer could confirm that the slab has not been damaged, which was true.

In addition, the hanging pipes that are supposed to warn vehicles of the height restriction were inspected and will be repaired as required.
