  • Leading Technology (HPTM 6210)

This 8-week online course focuses on strategies and requirements for leading scientific and technical projects. Topics include: leading change, project leadership, fundamentals of organization behavior, and enterprise management principles applicable to science and technology. The course also focuses on selection, development and effective management of scientist, engineers, biomedical, and technical professionals.

This course is offered through the Texas CTSA Collaborative Innovation & Entrepreneurial Program.

  • Business Innovation for Successful Entrepreneurship (HPTM 6308)

This course is part of the new Texas Regional CTSA Collaborative Innovation & Entrepreneurship Training Program. It was developed with the UT-Austin McCombs School of Business to provide a detailed understanding of the steps required to commercialize technologies and develop a successful business. All UT members (staff/faculty/students/etc) can register, although the course is formally offered for credit through UTMB’s Institute for Translational Sciences (ITS) under the ITS’ Human Pathophysiology and Translational Medicine Program.
