Denton A. Cooley Building
The Denton A. Cooley Building is the home of St. Luke's Hospital-Texas Heart Institute. The building is located at 6770 Bertner Avenue. This location is adjacent to St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in the Texas Medical Center (TMC) and near the intersection of Fannin Street and Holcombe Boulevard.
The main goal of the Texas Heart Institute is to be part of the continuing efforts to remove the threat of heart disease from all our lives.
The Denton A. Cooley Building is a 327,000 square-foot facility and was dedicated in January of 2002.
This facility offers the full spectrum of cardiovascular services, from much-needed laboratory space for cutting-edge research programs to 12 operating suites, a 521 seat auditorium, and 93 new patient rooms.
