I.     POLICY AND GENERAL STATEMENT

The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (“university”) respects the privacy and confidentiality of its patients’ medical and dental information.  To that end, the university has developed a Policy and Procedure Manual for the Confidentiality of Health Care Information.

II.     PROCEDURE

All faculty, staff, students and guests are required to follow the policies and procedures set forth in the Policy and Procedure Manual for the Confidentiality of Health Care Information.
