Network Accounts comprised of a User ID, password and email address allow students to login to the following resources:
If you have an entry in the UTHealth People Directory, then your Network Account is ready. Network Accounts are created after you have registered and paid all required tuition and fees ( Normally, a weekend must intervene between the student's registration/payment of fees and activation of his/her network account.)
You can pick up your Network Account by bringing your Student ID Badge (and for students from other institutions, either a State Issued ID or Passport) to the GSBS IT Manager, Mitchell Bldg. (BSRB), room S3.8411.
Change your password immediately by going to the UTHealth Netcenter Change/Reset Password Web Application: https://apps.uth.tmc.edu/useradmin/faces/index.jsp
If your password does not work and you require a password reset, call the UTHealth Help Desk at (713) 486-4848.

Virtual Private Networking (VPN) enables staff, students and faculty to securely connect to the UTHealth network from home and other remote locations in order to access network resources such as shared drives, intranet sites and remote desktop enabled computers. VPN encrypts the data before it is sent across the Internet. Download the supported clients here. For instructions, refer to the Working From Home Guide.
