Talk2GSBS Do you have a question about GSBS, but you don’t know who to ask? Do you have a complaint? A compliment? Please send your questions or comments to Talk2GSBS@uth.tmc.edu. Emails sent to this address will be forwarded to the relevant GSBS Dean, Associate Dean or staff person at GSBS for rapid response and resolution.The GSBS Academic Deans The GSBS Academic Deans are available to counsel all students. Students can meet with the deans for general academic advice or for counseling on issues related to research, interactions with the advisor or lab-mates, or performance in courses. First year students are welcome to come in to discuss the general degree requirements and expectations, past coursework and to discuss questions related to integrating into the research and academic environment. Students may also discuss issues related to stress, anxiety or depression with the deans, and the deans will also provide information on the availability of professional counseling through UTHealth and MD Anderson Cancer Center. The deans can address your questions or concerns via email or in person. Appointments are not necessary, but are encouraged. In addition, each Program has specific courses and academic processes that are required for students affiliated with the Program, and questions related to these Program-specific issues can be addressed by the Program Director. Each Program also has a Program Coordinator who assists the Program Director in managing Program activities. These Program Coordinators are also available to address questions from the students and provide guidance.
