GS21 1631 Topics in Cancer Prevention II

The objective of this course is to provide an overview of research applications in cancer prevention. These will include, (a) a review of prevention research designs and methods, with examples from chemoprevention trials, (b) scientific approaches used in community intervention studies, and (c) an overview of social and behavioral science issues in prevention compliance, lifestyle interventions such as nutrition and tobacco, and perceived risks.
