About The UT-Graduate School Of Biomedical Sciences At Houston
Dedicated to the highest level of education and research, its faculty, classrooms, and laboratories are drawn from two major institutions: UTHealth and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, including it's Science Park Division, with additional faculty and resources drawn from the Texas A&M University Health Science Center's Institute of Biosciences and Technology in Houston --together, a unique inter-disciplinary and inter-institutional collaboration.
The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston offers Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in many areas of study; it offers an M.D./Ph.D. program in collaboration with The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and it is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools through both it's parent institutions, UTHealth and MD Anderson.
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) began in December, 2009, to require all public universities and health-related institutions with doctoral programs to collect and publish specified information on their web sites regarding certain Characteristics of Doctoral Programs approved by the Board. The required information for the graduate school is provided here.
