19th Annual UTHealth Scholarship Golf Classic
Attention Houston Golfers! The 19th Annual UTHealth Scholarship Golf Classic tees up Monday, Oct. 24, at 9 a.m. at Northgate Country Club.
The tournament is open to the public, and this year, is being co-chaired by:
- Patricia Starck, Dean of UTHealth School of Nursing
- Kenneth Lewis, President, LL&C Properties, Inc.
- Debbie Adams, Owner, Janus 1 Unlimited, Inc.
- Lynn M. Schroth, DrPH, MSN, BSN, Professor, UTHealth School of Nursing and UT School of Public Health
Plenty of gifts, prizes, food and auction items will be on hand.
Each player will receive a "Bounce Back Card" for a free round of golf when accompanied by a paying guest. The guest fee is $50 (a $20 discount). In addition, all Pro Shop merchandise will be 25% off on the day of the tournament; excludes clubs and balls.
Proceeds from last year’s event funded scholarships for 47 student scholarships that were distributed among the six schools at UTHealth: Medical, Dental, Nursing, Public Health, Biomedical Informatics and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
