Effort Reporting at UTHealth

Getting Help with Effort Reporting

Everyone who is required to certify effort has a designated effort coordinator.  The effort coordinator can answer your questions, monitor certification activity, and follow up with any late certification issues.  The name of your effort coordinator appears on your effort statement.  If you are not sure who your effort coordinator is, please contact your department administrator or your Dean’s office.  You can also email us at effort@uth.tmc.edu or call Robin Cavalier-Brown (713) 500-3392.

The following UTHealth resources are also available to answer your effort reporting questions:

Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP)
OSP is the central office for managing proposal submissions, contract negotiations, award acceptance, and research compliance and ethics at UTHealth. OSP offers assurance to the potential sponsor that time and cost commitments are appropriate.  More information is available on the OSP website: http://www.uthouston.edu/sponsored-projects/index.htm

Post-Award Finance (PAF)
The PAF Team’s role is a support role to Principal Investigators and department administrators. For information refer to the System Data Resources (SDR) website: http://www.uth.tmc.edu/finance/paf/index.htm
