Fall 2010 Fall Development Board Meeting
At the fall 2010 Development Board meeting, Eugene H. Vaughan, outgoing Board Chair, was presented a chair engraved with the UTHealth logo in recognition of his outstanding service to the university. Vaughan then ceremoniously passed the gavel to incoming Development Board Chairman Fred Zeidman. New members Scott Caven, Jerry Deutser, Dick Rogers, Anne Stewart and Terry Shaikh were also introduced at the meeting.

Passing the gavel? Not exactly. Chairman Zeidman holds both Bevo and Vanderbilt’s mascot, the Commodore, alluding to the change in leadership – and college football loyalty.
