Elected Officials Visit UT Health Science Center at Houston

On Aug.26, at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Nursing, Texas Gov. Rick Perry ceremonially signed legislation to improve the Professional Nursing Shortage Reduction Program and provide resources for nursing programs to enroll more students across Texas. Looking on are State Representatives Lois Kolkhorst, the author of the bill, and Ellen Cohen, as well as members of the UT Health Science Center at Houston Development Board, Texas Medical Center leadership and students.
