Willerson recognized for his years of service

The University of Texas System Board of Regents recognized former University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston President James T. Willerson, M.D. with a presentation by Chairman Scott Caven. During the Regents Aug. 14 meeting, the board recognized Willerson for his years of service to the UT Health Science Center at Houston. Willerson began work at the UT Medical School at Houston in 1989 when he became chair of the Department of Internal Medicine. He left the health science center at the end of July.
