Robertson led the fundraising effort for the Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for the Prevention of Human Diseases with the late Ben Love. "I also want to present you with my own special gift, yellow roses for a yellow rose of Texas," James T. Willerson, M.D., president of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, told Robertson when presenting the award. Robertson also was named a Lifetime Member in recognition of her years of service to the Development Board.
