Many Hands Make Light Work

Volunteers during United To Serve cut a task down to size – literally – as they cut out Christmas stockings for newborns at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. Anderson Cancer Center assisted patients, families and the elderly April 21 during the UT System-wide Outreach Day.
Many volunteers echoed Adams’ comment that the event was a great opportunity to meet others and to give back to the community. “This is our first year,” she said. “We’ll be back.”
