PARTNERS Scholars Named

The annual Fall Coffee for PARTNERS, the support organization of The University of Texas School of Nursing at Houston, held Oct. 11, recognized Travis Laqua, Michelle Edwards, Anne Curry, Susan Bankston, and Valarie Killough as PARTNERS scholarship recipients. Since its inception in 1994, PARTNERS has awarded 71 full-tuition scholarships, 32 faculty research grants, and two endowed professorships. The PARTNERS Endowed Scholarship, supported by the group’s fund-raising events and individual gifts, is now valued at more than $1.3 million.
