Nominees Sought for Two President's Scholar Awards

Nominations are being sought for two President's Scholar Awards to be presented to outstanding fulltime faculty members at the Faculty Honors Convocation in the Fall. The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston awards will be presented simultaneously to recognize achievement in research and in teaching. Each award will be presented along with a $5,000 cash prize and each honoree will give brief remarks during the program.

Nominations may be submitted by any individual affiliated with the health science center. The Awards Committee will review the nominations and recommend two honorees to President James T. Willerson, M.D.

All documentation should be submitted electronically by May 4 to the Office of the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Betty.M.Vaughan@uth.tmc.edu.
