Fun Fest is back and in celebration of UTHealth’s 40th anniversary, we are throwing “That 70’s Fest!”
So, like, you know, if you were, like
a Led Zepplin-Carole King-granola crunching surfing freak
a disco diva-John Travolta-BeeGees-loving dancing queen
a pink Polo-shirted, flipped-up-collared tennis sweater tied-around-the-neck geek
(Or vaguely aware that there was such a decade thanks to vintage reruns of Saturday Night Live)
Then, throw on your most rad threads of the 70s era and join your friends for fun, food and festivities at Grant Fay Park, Friday, Oct. 26th, 2 to 5 pm.
Grant Fay Park is located at 1368 West Holcombe Blvd. (behind the UTHealth School of Nursing building).
Admission is free to all UTHealth students, faculty and staff with a UTHealth badge. Your badge is your admission ticket.
We also need volunteers to help plan and work on more than 14 different committees that help make this event a success. If you are interested in being a volunteer, contact Rose.M.Betancourt-Trevino@uth.tmc.edu(713-500-3209).
Do you have the grooviest chili or salsa recipe? Then grab your friends and start your own chili or salsa team.
