The Office of Advancement is the primary strategic link between The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) and its principal constituencies. The role of Advancement is to support and advance the mission of the university by increasing awareness about, engagement in, and support for the institution. In that role, the Advancement staff lead UTHealth's overall fundraising and marketing / communications efforts through central, university-wide initiatives, as well as through strategic planning and coordination and support of activities for the university’s six schools and key administrative offices including the Office of the President.
